First Day of School

Cordray Academy started school today and my kids were so excited. Being pregnant and then having a newborn our summer wasn't very exciting, so I think they were ready to see their cousins again and have something to do everyday. Allison joined in by packing her backpack and lunch also.

When I figured out that my due date was July 1st I never really thought that this baby would come on the 4th of July, but that is what she did.

She weighed 7lb 10oz and was 20.5 inches long.

The kids are totally in love with their new little sister. They always want to hold her and they fight over who's turn it is.

A busy night for the Tooth Fairy.

So I know it has been I long time since I posted, but I have a good excuse, my computer crashed. When I say crashed I mean my hard drive is gone. Thanks to some smart and helpful family members I now have a functioning computer, Yeah!

So my kids were so excited about this event that they asked me to put it on the blog.

Evan lost his first tooth, finally! On the same day Julia lost her 5th tooth. The tooth fairy was very busy that night!

Still a Girl

We had another ultrasound yesterday and we were able to get this 3D image of her face.

Her head was right under my bellybutton so it was hard to get a clear shoot,

but you can make out her eyes, nose and lips.

We still have no name for her, but we are open to suggestions.

GIRL! It looks like we are adding another girl to the bunch,

Evan was disappointed that he is not getting a little brother.

But he won't care once she is her, he is a great big brother.

Family Vacation 2011

This January we decided to take the kids to Disney World before I get huge and it will gets to crazy with a new baby. Allison has been before, but this time she was so excited about everything it was neat to watch her responses. She loved every show or ride she went on, except for Goofy's Barnstormer, which is a very short, but fast rollercoaster. After the ride she said "I don't like that" several times, after every other ride she said "do it again."

The day before we left we took Alli to the doctor

and found out she had a double ear infection,

so this is the face we got for the first few days we were there.
